Quick and Easy Return Policy

If you purchase an item from us (or steal one and manage to get a proper shipping invoice), and for whatever reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase (or at least mildly entertained, if you're of a low-maintenance disposition), you can return the item to us within 14 days from date of receipt for a complete refund of the cost of the merchandise.

Simply repack the item in its original shipping materials, enclose the original shipping invoice, and send via traceable means (FedEx, UPS, DHL etc. - Santa does not guarantee delivery however!) to the following address:

*Please note we cannot refund shipping costs (Unless of course we shipped you the wrong thing from the beginning, in which case we will certainly refund the shipping charges - it would just be wrong of us not to!)

But wait, you don't get off that easy... there are of course some conditions which do apply to the Quick and Easy Return Policy. They are as follows:

  • Return policy applies to purchases made only on this website and does not apply to Cow Halloween seasonal retail stores (email customerservice@cowhalloween.com for a retail store near you!) Retail store purchases cannot be returned via mail or in connection with the online store (at least not at this time - coming soon!).
  • Return must be received at our warehouse within 14 calendar days from the date you originally received the item.
  • The item(s) being returned must be accompanied by the original packing list that came with the order.
  • Item(s) must be returned to us via a traceable shipping method with delivery confirmation (with all shipping costs pre-paid). We cannot be responsible for returns lost in shipping.
The following items are NOT Returnable:
  • Special order items
  • Close-out or clearance sale items
These following items may be returned ONLY if they are un-opened, in original manufacturer's packaging:
  • Undergarments (Ick! We wouldn't ship you a used pair of panties! ...So we don't want any back!)
  • Socks and stockings
  • Shoes & Boots (exchangeable for different size, but not returnable)
  • CD's, both music and sound effects (We don't like that kind of pirate!)
  • Eyelashes and Fingernails
  • Wigs, beards, facial hair or any other artificial hair
  • Prosthetics, fangs or any other fake teeth
  • Cosmetics/Makeup
  • Latex Masks
If you need a different size or different costume, you should place a new order for the needed replacement item(s) and return the item(s) you have already received. This gives you the best chance that the item may still be in stock.

If you choose to email us about your return, please provide the following information:
  • Your e-mail address
  • Your order number
  • A brief description of the problem
  • Any item damage or shortage, if applicable
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE: If you purchase any of the above listed items it is important you look at them carefully to make sure it is what you ordered BEFORE OPENING the factory packaging. Once the packaging is opened, we cannot accept a return for the item. SORRY, NO EXCEPTIONS (We know this is a pain sometimes, but you have no idea how often people try to return something that they legitimately used! - Those people ruin it for the rest of us!)

All other items not specifically listed above are eligible for our Quick and Easy Return provided they are in new, un-used and unworn condition, are not missing any items/pieces, are returned with the original manufacturer's packaging and have not been worn, used, altered or show signs of any wear. Cow Halloween shall make the sole determination as to whether or not an item qualifies under the return policy.

If an item is returned and falls outside the above criteria, we reserve the right to reject the return completely OR subject it to a 25% handling and restocking charge. Orders that are refused for delivery will be subject to a 25% handling and restocking charge. Note also that refunds are issued for the price of the merchandise ONLY and only on the credit card account number used to make the original purchase. We cannot refund shipping or handling. Again, if it was our mistake and we shipped the wrong thing we will certainly refund the shipping costs and get you the correct item. Any return received with missing items or without original packaging will not be credited.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

- During the Halloween season of September and October, it can take 2-3 weeks to process a return.

- Please Also Note: Costume styles are subject to change without notice due to the manufacturer's production. These changes are beyond our control. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. The Manufacturers do not always notify us of these variations. We will reflect any changes to the costumes in the website descriptions and images as soon as we become aware of them. Thank you for your understanding with this issue.

- Final Note: Out of Stock Items:

On occasion items listed on this site may become "out of stock." If this occurs and we have not updated the site to reflect that status, then we will credit your form of payment immediately, or we can offer you a store credit with an additional 10% monetary value for the inconvenience (On a $100 purchase we would give you a $110 store credit to purchase something else). We look forward to taking care of you and becoming your Halloween source of choice!
